Temple City Animal Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our experienced team. Both new graduates and experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply. Our ideal candidate will work 3 to 4 days per week, including Saturdays or alternating weekends. Our friendly team of doctors are willing to provide excellent mentorship for new graduates & internship trained veterinarians.
We are a well-established, AAHA Accredited, 5 doctor small animal hospital in the San Gabriel Valley, one of the most beautiful regions of southern California. The valley is surrounded by gorgeous mountains which provide year-round recreational activities, including hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, skiing and water activities. San Gabriel also boasts a vibrant local art scene and wonderful restaurants.
Our hospital is equipped with an in-house lab (with an outside lab option), cold therapy laser, digital X-Ray, dental X-Ray, ultrasound and spacious surgery and treatment rooms. We have a competent, friendly staff, a beautiful facility and loyal and compliant clients who bring our doctors an abundance of challenging medical cases. Position Overview:
The Veterinary Technician supports hospital operations by providing dedicated quality veterinary care and exceptional service to our patients and clients. Responsibilities include providing patient care by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations and diagnostic procedures, assisting during surgery and operations, providing nursing care, assisting with feeding and caring for patients, maintaining medical supplies and equipment, overseeing triage and discharging patients, and maintaining patient medical records.
